Upon arrival at Chongqing, you will be met by our local Asia journeys's representative and transferred to your hotel. |

2 |
Chongqing (AB, L, D)
Full day city tour to the Arhat Temple (Luohan Si), built around 1000 years ago. The Stilwell Museum is something of a novelty in China, as it sheds a relatively positive light on the US involvement in WWII. It is housed in the former VIP Guesthouse of the Kuomintang and residence of General Stillwell, who was Commander of China-Burma-Indian Theatre and Chief of Staff to Chiang Kaishek in 1942.

Chongqing - Dazu (AB, L, D)
Transfer to Dazu, visit the Leshan Buddhist Stone Statures, this is one of the greatest sites in the world for viewing Buddhist art with over 10,000 statues carved over a 1,000 year period in more than 250 caves. A UNESCO World Heritage site. |

Dazu - Chengdu (AB, L, D)
Drive 5 hours (depends on the road and traffic condition) to Chengdu, visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation Dam after lunch, the oldest irrigating system in China dated back to some 2000 years old and still in use today. A UNESCO World Heritage site. |

Chengdu (AB, L, D)
Early this morning visit the Panda Breeding Center, the pandas are active in the morning and you will have the option to donate money to the center in exchange for holding a baby panda for pictures. Next drive to Sanxingdui Museum, to see a mysterious 5,000 years old civilization recently unearthed that defies description. Later visit one of the Chengdu's famous traditional tea houses. |

Chengdu - Mt. Leshan - Mt. Emei (AB, L, D)
Proceed to Mt. Leshan in the early morning, take a boat tours, pass by for a frontal view of the Grand Buddha, where you can see the entire picture of the Grand Buddha carved into a cliff face overlooking the confluence of Dadu He and Min He, it measures an overwhelming 71m high. You will also have an opportunity for a picture taken from the top of the mountain. Continue drive to Mt. Emei for overnight. |

Mt. Emei (AB, L, D)
Tour the Mt. Emei scenic area which includes the Declare Nation Temple, Crouching Tiger Monastery, The Pure Sound Pavilion, Long Life Monastery, Magic Peak Monastery and the Golden Summit Temple. |

Mt. Emei - Chengdu Airport (AB)
Enjoy a leisure breakfast before we head back to Chengdu airport for your flight to the next destination. |
