Arrive in Beijing (D)
Arrive at Beijing, capital city of China, you will be met by our Asia Journeys' local representative and escorted to your hotel. |

2 |
Beijing (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, we start our tour with visiting the world's largest public square - Tiananmen Square. Then, proceed to Forbidden City, the palace home for the Ming and Qing Dynasty Emperors for over 500 years. After lunch, visit the Temple of heaven, where the emperors came to pray for good harvest and pay his appreciation. After dinner, enjoy your Acrobatics Show or amazing show, "The Legend of Kung Fu". |

3 |
Beijing (AB, L, SD)
The highlights of today are an excursion to the Great Wall, an astonishing feat of engineering and one of World Heritages listed by UNESCO. Then you will go to the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. A stop will be made for you to take pictures of Bird's Nest, also known as the "The National Stadium" and the National Aquatics Center, also known as the "Water Cube". Enjoy your walking on the Wang Fu Jing Street and a welcome banquet featuring the traditional "Beijing Roast Duck" dinner in the evening. |

Beijing -
Xi’an (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, visits the Ancient City Wall, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and the Shanxi Provincial Museum, which holds some of the great treasures of this historic area. |

Xi’an - Chongqing - Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Start an excursion to the Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, after lunch, return to airport for flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred for a dinner. Board the Cruise - Century Diamond for the awe-inspiring Yangtze River in the evening. |

Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Today we shore excursion to Fengdu, "Ghost City", known for its statues of ghosts and devils on a reclusive mountain named Mingshan hill by the Yangtze. After the land excursion, there are various cultural programs you may attend.

Yangtze River (AB, L, D)
Today you'll pass through the first two Gorgers - Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Take an excursion through the Shennong Stream, where you will hop on a small rowboat and wind through the primitive waters. Then enter Xiling Gorge, the longest of the Three Gorges. In the evening, sail through the Three Gorges Dam ship lock. |

Disembark Yichang - Shanghai (AB, L)
This morning excursion at Sandouping to the Three Gorges Dam, the largest project of its kind in the world. Disembark your cruise ship at Yichang. After lunch you'll take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be met by your Asia Journeys' local guide and visit the Bund. Dinner is at your own arrangement. |

Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Your sightseeing this morning starts at the Shanghai Museum which houses 120,000 cultural artifacts. The highlights of this exhibit include bronze ware, pottery porcelain ware, paintings and invaluable calligraphy works. After lunch, continue to visit the Yu Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple, Nanjing Road and the Old Shanghai Bazaar. |

Shanghai - Airport (AB)
Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight back to the USA or your next destination. |
