Kunming (D)
Upon arrival in Kunming, known as the "City of Eternal Spring" and the capital of Yunnan Province, you would be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Later, take a leisure stroll along the Green Lake, a charming area of teahouses and small boutiques selling handicrafts and beautiful local paintings, followed by the interesting Flower and Pet Market. |

2 |
Kunming (AB, L, D)
Today we will drive 86 km to the Stone Forest. It is a massive collection of gray limestone pillars, formed over 240 million years and eroded to their present fanciful forms, the tallest standing 90 feet high. Marine fossils found in the area suggest that it was once under the sea. The strange shapes create a unique "fairyland" feel. Remainder of the day is at your own leisure.

Kunming - Dali (AB, L, D)
Take a morning flight to Dali. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, it was the capital of Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms, the political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan, and an important pass for the ancient "Southern Silk Road". Travel to Xizhou Town to fully appreciate Bai style architecture. Enjoy the Folk Songs and Dances of the Bai ethnic minority while you are served the famous Three Course Tea. Then tour the Erhai Lake. |

Dali - Lijiang (AB, L, D)
Proceed to Lijiang after a visit to the Three Pagodas, symbol of Dali. It is the 16th century walled city and one of the most interesting places in China to wander around. Featured Excursions in Lijiang: Black Dragon Pond, Dongba Culture Museum. In the morning, you will drive to Lijiang, Home of the Naxi Minority People. Lijiang is a 12th century wooden city with scenic canals against a background of snow covered mountains and is a UNESCO World Heritage city. After lunch, you will visit Black Dragon Pool, and the Dongba Culture Museum, which exhibits the Naxi people's mysterious culture including their Dongba Pictographic language. |

Lijiang (AB, L, D)
Today, tour the ancient Town of Dayan. This is one of the most fascinating places to walk in all of China. Dayan town was originally built in the 12th century. It is a maze of waterways and alleys of very old wooden houses lived in by the Naxi Minority people. You will want to spend the rest of the day enjoying yourself in this place sitting by a waterway, sipping tea and watching the world go by. |

Lijiang - Shangri-La (Zhongdian) (AB, L, D)
This morning you'll drive to Zhongdian with a stop to Tiger Leaping Gorge, which is believed to be the deepest gorge in the world. Continue proceed to Zhongdian. It is the First Bay of Yangtze and Stone Drum Town. Overnight in Zhongdian. |

Shangri-La (Zhongdian) (AB, L)
Visit the Bitahai Lake and Songzhanlin Lamasery. BaiTaHai is situated about 32 km away from Zhongdian County. It is an intact natural attraction with various species of flora and fauna and, of course, picturesque landscapes. In Tibetan language, Bita means "land as soft as cattle hair felt". And Songzhanlin Lamasery is named the Gedan Songzhanlin lamasery in Tibetan. The monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan province, and also one of the famous monasteries in Tibetan area. Overnight in Zhongdian. |

Zhongdian - Kunming (AB, L, D)
Transfer to the nearest airport for flight to Kunming. On arrival, visit the Western Hills where Taoist temples and Buddhism Temples are found. A very beautiful lake view of the Dianchi Lake comes into your eyes while we visit Dragon Gate. A temple carved in to the mountainside. On the way down, visit the Huating Temple that has 500 sculptures of disciples of the Buddha. |

Kunming- Airport (AB)
Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight back to the USA or for your next destination. |
